Understanding Sexual Harassment
What is it all about?
Sexual harassment is often seen as a ‘lesser’ form of sexual violence; this training aims to demonstrate that sexual harassment is a serious form of sexual violence which can have devastating and sometimes long-lasting consequences for survivors. Sexual harassment permeates both the social life and work life of women and in this interesting course we look through the myths surrounding the topic, highlight the reality of living with sexual harassment and equip learners with the knowledge and skill to support survivors including an in depth exploration of civil and criminal law as they relate to sexual harassment.
This training was born out of the “Me Too” and “Time’s Up” movements, which brought the issue, and the widespread nature of Sexual Harassment, to global attention.
