Wales Circuit Breaker Lockdown

The Welsh Government have today announced that a circuit breaker lockdown will  be brought in for Wales from 6pm on Friday 23rd October 2020.

A circuit breaker involves bringing in a series of restrictive measures from Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November, to try to regain control over the growing numbers of Covid-19 cases across the country.

We know that this is a really difficult time for survivors of both current and historic abuse and violence, and that loved ones of survivors might also be very concerned about the new restrictive measures. We want to reassure everyone that support services for survivors will continue to run, during this circuit breaker lockdown and beyond.

The Welsh Government funded Live Fear Free helpline is available 24/7, offering free confidential support and advice to survivors and concerned others.
