Launch of Welsh Women’s Aid ‘Ask Me’ Pilot in Cardiff

Speaking out about violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence can be difficult. Many people fear that they won’t be believed, or that they will be blamed. We want to change that.

Funded by South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner, we are working with Respect and Women’s Aid to create a team of ‘Change that Lasts Community Ambassadors’ in Cardiff, who will help to raise awareness and break the silence on violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence. Ambassadors will receive free training and ongoing support to make sure every survivor feels they can speak to someone.

Our next training session is 9:30am – 4:30pm on the 14th of August and the 21st of August. Find out more and get involved here:
