Light a Candle

Multi-faith event to speak out against violence against women in Wales
Bawso in partnership with Welsh Women’s Aid, New Pathways, Unite, Safer Wales and Welsh Centre of International Affairs will be holding the annual, multi-faith Light a Candle event to mark the International Day to End Violence against Women on Wednesday 25th November at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff.
The Minister for Public Services Leighton Andrews AM will be the main speaker at the event. Also speaking will be a survivor of violence against women who will share her experience. Representatives from a number of world religions will read passages about non-violence.
